Sunday Smoothie: Banana Strawberry

I tasted a lot of smoothies the last couple of weeks, but it didn’t prevented me from getting an awful cold that I have since a few days.
But of course that’s not so strange. Fruit can help you to stay healthy, but it’s not some kind of miracle. But I still like to make smoothies so I definitely will keep the Sunday Smoothie serie.
This time we tested the Banana Strawberry Smoothie for Cakes and Pumps. This Banana Strawberry Smoothie is so easy to make. And the taste is great.

If you want to make smoothies, the most important tool is a blender. I don’t have one with all kind of programms, only a button to put it on, and with two different speeds.
The most important thing with blenders is to decide first what you want to do with it. When I bought mine, I just wanted a fancy one that looks great in my kitchen (it’s almost 13 years old know so don’t blame me for my innocence). Luckily it can do everything, like crushing ice-cubes and frozen fruit.
If you want to crush ice-cubes, than you need a heavy duty on, and that’s the same if you want to use it with frozen fruit.
So is it for smoothies, no more thinking, you just need a heavy duty one.
And in the mean time you can also use it for Cocktail Friday😉
