Last year I wrote a blogpost about how to make your own teepee. My son Lars is really happy with his teepee, only we got really crazy that the Fabric from the top came down all the time. If I moved the teepee a little bit, then it all came down. I really want to do something about it and now I found the solution. Until now I didn’t had the time to write it down, but now I have vacation, so here it comes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Ik heb bij de Gamma een zakje met zeilringen<\/a> gekocht, als het goed is zijn de ringen 10 mm.
\"Zeilringen<\/a>
In totaal heb je 10 zeilringen nodig, een houtboor van 10 mm om in de stokken te boren en een stuk stevig touw.
De gaten voor de zeilringen heb ik in de stevige bovenrand van de tipi gemaakt. Ik heb eerst geprobeerd om de ring in het dunne gedeelte van de stof te maken, maar hierbij kwam de ring meteen weer los uit de stof. gelukkig was dit aan de binnenkant, dus je ziet het gat niet. Maar geen succes dus. daarna heb ik voor de zekerheid maar even geoefend op een stevig stuk stof, zodat ik in ieder geval de juiste delen van de zeilringen op de goede plek deed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Met een schaar heb ik aan de binnenkant van de tipi, bovenin de stevige stof van de tunnels 2 gaten gemaakt.
De gaten moeten tegenover elkaar komen te zitten, anders kun je straks niet het touw erdoor heen halen.
Eerst heb ik een gat in de stof geprikt. Daarna heb ik het voorzichtig een klein stukje opengeknipt, zodat het deel van de zeilring er wel inpast.

Vervolgens druk je het eerste deel van de zeilring door de stof heen. Dit doe je vanaf de buitenkant van de tunnel naar binnen. Daarna draai je de stof, zodat de zeilring onderop komt te liggen. Leg er een stevige fouten plank onder, zodat je vloer of tafel waarop je werkt niet beschadigd.

Aan de binnenkant van de tunnel leg je nu het tweede deel van de zeilring op het eerste deel met de stof ertussen. Onder het eerste deel leg je het rondje van het gereedschap uit het zakje, de zeilring past hier precies in.
Daarna pak je het andere gereedschapsdeeltje en dit houd je precies op de zeilring. Met een hamer sla je nu op de zeilring, zodat de randen van de slagring aan elkaar komen te zitten.

Dit doe je in elke tunnel 2 keer, zodat je uiteindelijk 10 zeilringen in de tipi hebt vastgemaakt.

In de stokken van de tipi ga je nu gaten maken. Ik heb hiervoor de tipi languit gelegd, en een stokken helemaal in een tunnel gestoken, zodat hij op de goede plek zat. Met en potlood heb ik door de gemaakt gaten heen een stip getekend op de stok. Stok weer eruit gehaald en op alle stokken op precies dezelfde hoogte ook een stip gemaakt.
In alle vijf de stokken heb ik vervolgens met een houtboor van 10 mm precies door het midden een gat geboord.

Leg daarna weer de tipi languit op de grond, steek de stokken nu allemaal in de tunnels met de gaten naar boven.
Haal nu het touw door een zeilring, door het gat in de stok en weer door de tweede zeilring, voor alle tunnels. Het touw knoop je stevig vast (aan de binnenkant).
Bind het lint dat je gemaakt heb aan de buitenkant vast en maak een mooie strik.
De stof zakt nu niet meer naar beneden, waardoor de tipi veel makkelijker te verplaatsen is.
